Mooncake festival celebration

Although mooncake festival happened on Friday, a politician from a national political party celebrated the festival in his constituency last night. No, I’m not into politics, nor I like to be in crowded places, but FIL is attached to the party and asked me to help take photos of the event since his camera is “dead”. FIL asked wor, how can say no? I thought it would have been cancelled since it was raining in the afternoon. I guess it was good opportunity to brush up my night photography skills. It would give me some exposure before I do a photo shoot for my cousin’s wedding in two weeks time. Anyway, I will let the photos do some of the talking.

Raelynne’s longest cry

Raelynne gave Daddy and Mummy a shock yesterday afternoon. She had her loudest and longest cry ever since birth and we don’t know what had happened. As we were preparing to bring her to see baby Roxy, I carried her, wanting to read a new book I bought for her. Not long after I carried her, she cried and cried and we thought she wanted milk as it was her feeding time. But then we start to realize it was not. Mummy carried her and try to console her but she kept on crying and crying and then my Sister in Law also heard she cried and asked what happened. Then my Sister in law carried her and tried to console her and she stopped for a while. After that, she continued on crying. Then Mummy put her into the tub and console her and bath her again. But after she was out of the tub, she cried non-stop again. It gave everyone at home a shock and we are all wondering what had happened. Had Daddy hurt Raelynne without realizing? As far as I know, I did not do anything that hurt her. She was probably in pain and continued to cry. Then I suggested to bring her for a joy ride in the car and we quickly went for a drive. She stopped crying after a few minutes in the car and had her milk.

Then we went home and she was already asleep, I guess too tired from crying already. We decided to cancel our visiting and it was lucky also we cancelled because it rained very hard not long after that.

Sorry Raelynne if Daddy made you pain wherever it was. Next time Daddy more carefully okay.

In the meantime, on Saturday, I took the photos below on Saturday when she was in her happy mood. She also started to grab things and can carry lightweight items. Wonderful!

My doggie and me… and look, I can lift up the doggy (When I snap the photo on the right, her hand was so quick to move and the doggy’s ears blocked her face)
