This morning I managed to catch a few snapshots of Raelynne sitting on the walker. The good thing about having younger kids than my brothers is that we get to inherit any usable baby stuff that can no longer be used by Raelynne’s cousins. Thus, the walker was actually used by my nieces before. Now that they can all walk, they don’t need it anymore. Did you know that walkers can be quite costly? I saw one before, and it costs more than RM100!
Anyway, for Raelynne, she can sit quite long in the walker and as mentioned in my previous post, she can only move backwards. We had to stuff pillows at the back and the front because there’s a big gap and we don’t want her to feel uncomfortable sitting inside it.
This morning she woke up quite early again, I think almost 5am. I only got to know later that she pass motion and my wife put her back on the bed but she did not sleep. My wife went back to sleep and I heard Raelynne whining and whining so I woke up and made her milk. Then I put her back on the bed and she didn’t want to sleep. This sleepy Daddy is so sleepy but trying to open my eyes. So I had to sing song to her, pat her bottom, pat her back, and I think it took about 20 minutes before she felt sleepy and slept back again. I think I fell asleep for awhile and was sleeping next to Raelynne. Then out of the blue I woke up and crawl back to my normal sleeping side. Then no long after that, Raelynne woke up again and started whining. Now she knows how to pull hair if she can reach, tap on our faces, etc. She’s sleeping on our bed now because she always want to turn even when she is sleeping and we worried when she turn, she would not turn back. So at least if she sleep on the bed we can see and feel when she is turning to prevent SIDS. The way she sleep, I think she can turn around and around the bed if no one prevents her from doing so.
Oh yes, she didn’t show any signs of disagreement to the porridge that my wife made based on Aunty Shannon’s ABC baby porridge recipe, which is good!

Yahh..walker is not cheap and we didn’t have one. Don’t worry, at first going backwards, soon she will learn to move forward.

Cutie Raelynne is using a walker already? What a big girl. Yeah…becareful with it. One day, Ashley tried to climb out and almost fell out when I was busy in the kitchen. Have to keep an eye all the time. Dunno what the child will be up to.
